Reunion with former students at Straumsnes primary School.
Straumsnes is a small village with around 260 residents. There have been school here for many years. Every autumn students and teachers used to take a hike up in the mountain when the school started. Four years ago one person took initiative and invited people to go the tour and thus meet former students and childhood friends. People from different part of the country came to Straumsnes to meet and take the same hike they did when they where students. Some haven't been here for decades. It have been a popular happening and hopefully it will continue. This year I attended and want to share a couple of pictures from the hike which goes to the lake Reinveivannet. If you have seen my earlier post it is familiar
You can se the railway in the mountainside. During the building of the railway it was a little city at the end of the fjord Rombaken.
