Almost a flower

in #nature8 years ago (edited)

Sometimes Almost makes a big difference*.

This used to be a flower of Teucrium frutican plant. A nice bush with light blue blooms. If you know how Rosemary flowers look like - those look very alike, but are a lot bigger! I don't have flower photos now. I just managed to get the last years seed pods leftovers. They bloom later in the year, so I still have the time.

The seed pod though it looks like a flower itself. With the it's star like shape. If only the colour was different.

The leaves are pretty nice too. With a white, hairy layer they look dusted, or dry. But they are kind of fuzzy.

Ok... you don't have to google it. I found some old photo of the flowers. Yay! :)
