The endangered Japanese Golden Eagle ( photography )

The Japanese Golden Eagle is an endangered specie. It is said that only five hundred exist in the wild. I took these pictures at a zoo without getting the fencing in the pic. Magnificent bird.

The biggest factor leading to their extinction is the lack of prey in the wild. Snakes and small rodents aren’t as easy to come by as they once were.

When I see magnificent animals like this going extinct I think, it is such a pity that generations to come may not be able to experience these animals much like we weren't able to see the dinosaurs. ( Would we want to see them though?). But at the same time I realize this is evolution in play with the vibration. The predator, the Golden Eagle, does not fit the current vibration of the earth, the modernization and development of natural lands for the convenience of man etc. In the same light we could say certain types of behaviors in human society aren't tolerated and there for these types of people/ behaviors become extinct or it is slowly more pussified as generations pass.

Yeah so I am just trying to say that the beast mentality is turning into empathy, we just came from the caves, flying dinosaurs are still in the process of vanishing away ( the eagle in this case) . The world is becoming a place of kinder, more sophisticated creatures. But kind is relative. The advancement of man, does not benefit all creatures. Yup just my crazy thoughts added after an edit.
