Gray whale caught swimming among beach swimmers in California
A gray whale about six feet long was spotted swimming quietly among swimmers in Dana Point, Orange County, California. In the aerial images captured by the photographer Mark Girardeau, it is possible to observe the immense mammal a few meters from the strip of sand and near the people who enjoyed the sunny Tuesday in the beach resort.
On Facebook, surfers commented on the risk of animal stranding, by swimming so close to the coast.
