The World’s Longest Snake
The reticulated python (Python reticulatus) is the world’s longest snake. Also it is one of the heaviest snake species. Python is nonvenomous snake, but it is dangerous to humans having been involved in quite a few incidents. Recently (March 2017) reported one incident in Indonesia where a 23-foot reticulated python killed and swallowed a 25-year-old farmer. Later villagers killed the python and extract the dead body. Reticulated pythons are remarkable swimmers and they are native to Southeast Asia.
