Ostrich (Struthio camelus) is the largest living bird in the world. An adult Ostrich can weigh up to 150 kgs with maximum height of 6 feet. The interesting thing is that due to the heavy body it cannot fly instead they have strong legs for running. In fact they are the fastest bird in the land with maximum speed of 70 kmph. The ostrich lays the biggest eggs of any existing bird.
