Beautiful Show Shots From the Recent Snowfall

Yesterday, Maryland was hit with some more snow. This snowfall followed an unusually warm period of which we experienced 60 & 70 degree temperatures. In fact it was only 37F yesterday morning with sunny skies so I thought to myself - the "weatherman" is wrong! But in the early afternoon the flakes started falling. They were coming down pretty robustly. I snapped a couple shouts- zoom in to see the flakes in all their glory during their descent...


My post header is following the snow fall and was taken at nearly 9 pm yesterday night. The photo is unedited. As you can see the winter skies combined with the snowfall created a unique lighting because normally it'd be quite dark out by this time. Here's a couple more shots from yesterday night...

I have a fascination with how my barren rose bushes look...

The cool thing is I didn't see it ever get colder than 35 degrees. It's currently 36 so it's not bitterly cold out there! Yet, we still get to enjoy the beauty of the winter season. I'm sure in other parts of the country it is bitterly cold so we are lucky here in "warm" Maryland. Still, I am looking forward to some real warmth & sunny skies.
