RE: Finishing Projects In Winter: Water Catchment & Handwashing Station

Yes, "camp plants" so common everywhere they are often labelled as weeds and left to wither and die in the Fall, or are sadly eliminated through chemical means by many! The world has a lot to learn.

Wildlife truly knows the importance of what is needed to allow them to thrive; foxes dig up the rootballs of grass to consume the dirt, a required part of their diet. Every animal just "knows" by instinct.

As a society we have lost so much knowledge in favour of convenience.

With some of this knowledge finally resurfacing however, and people seeking out more healthy, more natural medicines, we definitely have to be aware of commercial over-harvesting for the sake of money alone lest all become instinct.

Sort:

yes true words you speak! the over harvesting is an increasing issue and one we'd do well to take heed of! (and sorry i double posted so your comment appears on the "wrong" post-- i posted the herb one twice)

LOL, I thought I had maybe commented on the wrong post and didn't know how I managed that... thanks for the explanation!

Let me copy and paste so it fits the right post! Should I delete it here?
