Perhaps you can tell us the name of the fruit locally and we can help you to find the botanical name and also a western name others recognize. I have seen this fruit here in Thailand, but only grown ornamentally - now I'm really. I hope your sister is able to stop with the drugs, to detox naturally and to return to her happier, healthier self.

@artemislives ~ I did some checking online and found the name of this fruit is often given as Calabash in English. The scientific name is: Crescentia cujete

Crescentia cujete, commonly known as the Calabash Tree, is species of flowering plant that is native to Central, South America, West Indies and southern Florida. It is the national tree of St. Lucia. It is a dicotyledonous plant with simple leaves, which are alternate or in fascicles (clusters) on short shoots.
actually that's the name we called this fruit, miracle fruit. lol
well she's not taking drugs anymore, it's been a long time now.

yeah but it's so sad that she's no longer in her old self and so pitty seeing her so innocent about life. But it's fine because being with us is enough.😀
