Zeus grows up in the mountains of Crete.

Guarded by his grandmother Gaia, the mother of earth and the nymphs.

His food is ragweed and nectar, which the deaf and eagles bring in, in addition there are delicious honeycombs, which the bees produce only for him, and he drinks the milk from the goat from the nymph Amalthea.

Later, as ruler of the universe, he will think of its benefactors, he will transform Amalthea and the goat into stars that will become the constellation of the stonebuck.

And he gives the nymphs who raised him, the horn of a goat, the famous horn of filling, which is always filled with what its owner wants to eat or drink.

But first of all it becomes dangerous.

In the meantime Cronus has realized that his wife Rhea has led him astray. He is looking for the son who has escaped his morbid obsession and could knock him off his throne.

Cronus searches everywhere, even under the mountains and hills and in the seas, but he doesn't find him, because the cradle of little Zeus is hidden in a cave of mountain Ida and strange creatures rage around in front of the entrance.

The curetes, demons staring at weapons, who are supposed to drown out the screaming of the young god with war dances and the clanking of their lances and shields, so that the father won't hear it.

The years pass.

Zeus grows up.

And the bigger he grows, the more he thinks of taking revenge on his shameful father, whose dreadful act his mother told him about.

When he grows up, Zeus meets the oceanid Metis.
This nymph from the sea is the daughter of the titans Oceanus and Thetis.

Metis is the goddess of the sheep sense but also the goddess of the list.

Young Zeus wants to seduce her, which he does effortlessly.

Of course he trusts her his origin and his desire to punish his father for his horrible crimes and his plan to free his brothers and sisters who are trapped in Cronus belly.

But how?

@anforo, Carl Gustav Jung also tried to explain this influence - many people demonize his works, others find it good.
