MyPictureDay on rush hour of Saturday
It was already around 4:00 o’clock in the afternoon earlier today when I suddenly thought of having a walk. The walk ended up to visiting the condominium unit that is under my watch. As I got into the lobby of the building, I was greeted by the receptionist followed by creepy creatures displayed for the Halloween. To the right is a half-body vampire pasted on the wall. Across the vampire beside the reception desk is a cemetery. One of the tombstones reads “RIP John Lennon” with DOB and DOD dates which I wondered if true. I asked the receptionist and he laughed. It’s a joke.
I do not believe and not a fan of Halloween so I did not take photos. I went on to the mailbox area to the left. As usual, it was full of promotional flyers. I got up to the unit and sorted the papers out. I made a very short and quick check around then got out. I was surprised to see that it was already dark. I thought I moved quickly but it looks like I took my time instead.
I hurried to the waiting area for my ride going home. Being the usual me when doing nothing and have my phone in hand, I took photos.
This was to my 1:00 o’clock. It was great that traffic jam was not heavy on this rush hour. It is Saturday after all.
This was to my 3:00 o’clock. I moved farther to my left so I do not take close-up shot of those guys who were also waiting for their ride. I had several attempts of trying to focus and capture what was flashing on the billboard on the upper right side of the photo but I failed. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 seems not good for it or I am the one who does not know how to operate its camera properly.
I think it was on my fifth attempt when a guy spoke right behind me. “Hindi makuha ng tama.” He meant the subject billboard can't be taken properly. I was startled and suddenly turned around. He is one of the barkers and was grinning when I looked at him. I did not realize he was watching from behind as I kept trying with the billboard. Darn! I should be more conscious of my environment next time instead of being so engrossed with the phone and taking photos.
This was to my back. As it has been during my previous visits in the area, people converge in this lawn and enjoy the early evening around the fountain.
I was lucky that a ride arrived for not long and it was a smooth travel going back home. Fine Saturday it is. 😊
