This brought back memories of my trip to Bear mountain when I was stationed in Cali, 2004, although I remember it being called "Big Bear Mountain".
Edit: "After rereading the post a bit more thoroughly, I see you explained what happened in 2002 with Snow Summit. Sorry for the bit of negligence there.."

    All good. lol. Since 2002 the 2 mountains combined are known as Big Bear Mountain Resorts. Glad I could bring back some good memories for ya!
