Exotic Animal Sanctuary - Show Us Your California

A couple weekends ago my family and I went out to a place we had never been, and exotic animal sanctuary! This place was in the middle of nowhere in a town named Phelan, so it was quite a trek out there and included a wild dirt road! When we found the place we were amazed at the incredible animals they had! Literally lions, tigers and bears, in addition to a whole host of other animals, cougars coyotes, bobcats, hedgehogs, alligators, owls etc.

This place gives exotic animals who were illegally owned a chance to enjoy the rest of their remaining days. They would not survive in the wild so this place gives them all the creature comforts they need to thrive.

It was a cool idea and a cool place and we had a great time checking out all the animals!
