My 2018 : A Tour Around My Town - Welcome to BACO
Here's my entry to @anomadsoul "
My 2018 : A Tour Around My Town" , if you want to join , you may check his contest post here
BACO is my hometown, it is located in the southern tagalog part of the Philippines , In the province of Oriental Mindoro. My town is subdivided into 27 barangays and i used to live in Barangay Alag , Baco Oriental Mindoro Philippines
I'll give you some directions how to go to our town from Metro Manila
First , you'll have to take a 2-hour bus ride from Manila to Batangas
this photo was my photo last time we go home to Baco, in a bus
After the 2 hours bus trip you'll arrive on the Batangas City port
photo of Batangas Port, here you'll have to go to the terminal where you'll have to get the ticket for your ship ride
photo of the terminal or like the waiting area whereyou also fall in line to get ticket and seat number for the ship
you can choose if you want to ride in fast craft( smaller ships where only people are on the ship- 1 to 1 and a half hour-ride or in a big ship where there are vehicles on the ground floor - 2 to 2 and a half-hour
my partner on the photo, leaving Batangas Port , we choose to ride in fast craft because we're in a hurry that time , but if you want to enjoy the view, ocean, mountain, flying animals and sea creatures i suggest to take the big ship
After the ship ride , you'll arrive in Calapin City , the capital of Oriental Mindoro, my province , on photo is the provincial office of Mindoro
FromCalapan City you'll have to have a 30 to 40-minute land travel , either by a public transpo or your own car , on photo is my brother-in-law's car when they pick us up from Calapan City , what you can also see in the photo is The "Lungos Bridge" , one of the longeat bridge in Oriental Mindoro
