My 2018: A Tour around my town: Medellin city of eternal spring
Medellin the city where I was born, and where I currently reside, a city with a history of much violence but also of much progress. The city of innovation for two consecutive years.
And this my post, as participation to the contest sponsored by @anomadsoul, and in gratitude to @blocktrades
The so-called city of eternal spring, of working people, friendly and Emprededora, the city where many dreams become reality, here are many artists and writers, such as Fernando Botero; León de Greiff ; Alejandro Posada among many others.
Medellin has many sites of interest to learn and share, as are the Explora Park, The Plaza Botero, the Pies Descalzos Park, in addition to very prominent cultural traditions as is the fair of flowers, an annual tradition of many international category with several days of various events. Parade of cars, exhibitions of orchids, silleteros parade, among others.
Medellin has a transport system as it is the SITVA, integrated transport system that can mobilize thousands of people per day; with Metro, Tram and Metrocable, Bicycle rental at the service of the community, this coupled with the spring weather of Medellín makes it a unique city in which the only risk is wanting to stay.

Previously, Medellin was called the capital of drug trafficking, where the secret mayor was Pablo Escobar himself. The fame of the Medellin cartel made Medellin the most dangerous city on the planet. The rich criminal history of the city and the monuments of the events that took place in the years of the drug mafia attract millions of tourists to the city. But in today's Medellin there is a huge variety of amazing places and activities worthy of no less attention. Today medellín is the second largest city in Colombia, becoming the cultural and industrial center of the country. Medellin is often called the "city of flowers" and the "capital of orchids", and deservedly so, because here are grown to 60% of the flowers exported by Colombia throughout the world.
