THE DAY THEY CAME😈😈

As expected , the joy that filled the air can be felt by everybody not leaving anybody out not even the insects in the ground. You don't need anyone to tell you we are in the festive season of Christmas and New Year Eve is fast approaching.

Children are already singing to their parents ears the type of clothings they want ,kind of shoes, and importantly the big chickens they want their parents to buy for the festive season.

Knock knock !
Steve! Steve!! Steve!!! Come on wake up ,it is time to go get the Turkeys from the market.

Still snoring and rolling on the bed from onevside to the other a thunderous slap came from nowhere and decended on his back. Shouting and wailing ,he stood up although still not conscious of his environment .

Come on get ready we are going to the market soon said his mum. Shaking his head side ways and mumuring he got down from his bed and headed to the bathroom to freshen up.

Some hours later ,Steve was seen inside his mum's car headed to the market. Little traffic congestion but they made it to their destination early. As expected ,the environment of the market was crowded with people both young and old simply because Xmas is just some hours away. They got to the store where Turkeys were sold both live and frozen ones. The price was too expensive ,they had to leave for another store .

On their way to another store ,Steve saw a guy selling movies and asked for a movie he has been searching for in all of his friends place. Luckily or unluckily the guy was having the movie and sold it to him . He was very happy and rushed to where his mum was negotiating the price of what they initialy came to buy.

The deal for the Turkey was done and they were soon on their way home. They got home almost in the evening. Getting home ,Steve took the Four live Turkeys to where they have prepared for them which is somewhere close to Steves room.

Super excited about the movie he bought ,Steve dashed to his room to start watching the movie. Tensed to start it because it is about allien invading earth and the alliens been defeated byva superhero. He summoned courage and inserted the disc into the video player and went to his bed to relax and wait for the movie to start.

The movie is really a top notch but Steve was getting scared as a lot of suspense and blood shed were shown . Even an adult will get scared of any movement behind him after watching the movie. It was around 11:35pm in the night and the movie was still playing and he was getting scared the more ,willing to stand up to go and off the movie but the fear has already gotten a better part of him so he couldn't stand up.

Unfourtunately, the light went off and everywhere was dark. With fear still in view because of the movie he watched, he resulted to sleep on empty stomach like that. Some minutes into his sleep he woke up to the sound of some creepy noise at the back of his room sounding like two people were discussing. Soon he saw figures trying to stand tall to his window outside. Really frightened now and sweating profusely ,he clinged to his bedspread using some part of it to cover his eyes at the same time peeping .

The figures he saw earlie rlooks like they were going to break down his window moving back and forth. Getting hold of himself ,he got down from the bed and ran out of his room straight to the hall way and to his frightened mind was welcomed by three moving almost half his size moving creatures. He quickly ran back and hid behind the door but was soon welcomed by one of the creatures he saw before. Thinking he was about to be abducted, tried to run away but knocked his head against the wall and passed out.

Wake up wake up! His mum said hitting him with her leg . She thought he must have sleep walked his way to the hall way because he was known for been a sleep walker. He saw another tall creature before him,almost pushing his mum away because his vision was still blury from he head he knocked against the wall in the middle of the night.

He narrated his ordeal to everybody that came to celebrate Xmas with them and got to realise the little creatures he saw before he passed out were the Four Turkeys they bought from the market and also the figures that tried to force their way into his room was just the palm trees and it branches at the back of his room.

He couldn't help but laugh at himself and since then vowed never to watch a horror or allien movie at night ever again. He ate and ate the cooked and spiced turkey that almost killed him amidst robbing his swollen forehead.

It was indeed a Christmas to always remember for Steve.
