Merry Christmas, then what next?
Christmas period is a season people look forward to seeing all around the world because it comes along with a lot of merriments and festivities.
I remember, as a little kid, I used to start my countdown to Christmas from September.
Wow! It's three months to Christmas now
I would say in anticipation.
The aura of christmas is always fascinating, majority of people are in happy and giving mode. There is holiday, so, Kids are happy and because there are lots of goodies to enjoy. Adults rejoice because they can reconnect with old friends and many visitors come the house. What a season!
But I have discovered that, some of those things we do in the name of Christmas celebration are inimical to our well beings
Here we go; because of the freedom Christmas season brings, there are lots of visitations to places and to people, so adults and most especially adolescents hide under this guys to express their youthful lust and sexual curiosity which results in many cases of unwanted pregnancies and after the christmas what next is abortion.
Adults are not left unaffected as prices of goods are on the high side during Christmas season and on the bid to do as others, many families drain their yearly savings on purchase of things and merry making. So, after Christmas, what next is hunger and starvation.
Many bad habits that might take years to get rid of, or last the lifetime start in Christmas season due to many meetings with old friends.
I would have probably become a chain smoker now, as I was introduced to smoking during timeout with friends at one Christmas season.
To some people, after Christmas, what next is stealing, to some; drunkenness, and to another; womanizing.
So, as you prepare to celebrate in this season, do it with all moderations, so that the regrets in the aftermath will not outweigh the enjoyment.
Spend wisely, visit reasonably and drive safely.

One thing I can say is when we don't take out time know what the reason for christmas is, we will always do things that we will always regret.
