Hello darkness my old friend
I was staring at the ceiling as I am apt to do lately
It started with a tug at my heart
I clutched my breast and found it hard to breathe
The pain mounting, a feeling of immobility
A tear falls from the corner of my eye
Falling into the pillow, wet with grief
An inhuman howl utters from my lips as it closed down on my heart
The world stops for a second, the darkness releases it and recedes back to where it came from
Light pierces through my window but I block it out with a pillow
I go back to slumber, back to dreamless sleep of darkness.
