How do you think about the often discussed byteball platform today?
with unbreachable contracts
with user controlled identity
with payments that can be easily sent over any network
with easy to develop apps that connect all of the above
built on scalable DAG-based technology
fully functional today
looking for wide adoption.
i hear something about it here and there and now i see your question so i googled it ... it looks like a ledger to me ... with a "different way of connecting" ... like does that make a difference then ?
you can have smart contracts (really !) and there are UNTRACEABLE coins ... like BTC was anonymous too

i try to think not of stuff that hasnt done anything yet. You get eth, eos ... practically no application but money shifting so far ... the last hype i got caught on was flixxo, they havent delivered anything yet, Tron turned out to be a gaping black void on launch so
among the 10.000 others i would first need to see what byteball does, not what it says it can do :)
im a bit tired of the overload (even if they give this away for free mostly ... i think thats a sign most people are getting tired of the overload)
If anything, Byteball has done something super valuable to the Steem ecosytem. So I give them credit where it's due.
The Byteball team has showcased that The Steem community is the perfect place to bootstrap a new cryptocurrency userbase. A highly active social community that is already familiar with cryptocurrency.
What byteball did has shown both the potential of the Steem Reputation plugin as well as the challenges that comes with it. With over 25,000 sign ups airdrops in mere days, Byteball user adoption is phenomenal, and its all done from the steem community.
I am now still reading the byteball whitepaper so I my judgement is still inconclusive about Byteball. Though I will see that they already have the most user friendly UX to execute smart contract that even my mother can do it.
Byteball has done the airdrop of byteball token and this might be the topic which are discussed all over the world as they are giving free airdrop of tokens for steemit users if they are having their reputation for more than 30+ they will get free coins.
