This is quite a catchy question!

First, we must understand what being poor really means.

many people have the notion that poverty is the absence of required necessities. The definition though is wrong.  Poverty is not just that someone lacks the basic things of life. it goes beyond that.

Poverty is a deficiency of the mind. It is the inability of the mind to string up solutions to problems. It is a mindset that hasn't been configured to think up solutions and act on them.

Give a poor man ten thousand dollars today and in few weeks time, he will be back to your door asking for more help. What a poor man needs is information, it is paradigm shift.

Wealthy people are first rich at heart, in their minds before the wealth materializes.

If a man can think up solution to a common problem and take the initiative to provide the solution, he will be rich.

What even is wealth? It is the reward for providing solutions.  Men who can predict the turn out of events rarely beg for survival.

Wealth is the reward for right predictions.

So, in answer to your question, I will gladly take the money and walk down the poor and provide him with the means to have his mind transformed. He'll be happier for it!

Poor people are poor in the first place because they do not have money. So if I'm financially capable to help such a person.. then helping poor people will come first. However, it I'm financially incapable, i would take the money first and use it to help poor people.

We can still donate even though we don't have much money and don't have more assets. If you are not able to give your wealth, you can still donate with your energy, your time, and your mind. "" If a neighbor is repairing a tile because of the wind and you can help him without asking for payment. If you are in trouble, you can help find a way out. In that way, you have given your energy, mind, and therefore your time. "

Charity Indeed, it is often interpreted in the context of wealth and money - therefore, just by being rich someone has a greater chance of charity, as he assumes. However, this figure broadens his understanding that giving is a way to help others escape from difficulties, helping others ease the burden of their lives. Therefore, Because of that, wealth and money are not the only way. "Anyone can still take bederma even if they live in limitations," he said.

Well, like someone already said, if I don't have money myself, I would be poor and unable to help anyone.

So I would pick the money first and then see about helping as many poor people as I can.

Helping poor people should be first. The help could be as simple as providing that person with lunch or dinner. Having said that, money can greatly change the life of the poor person though it's not guaranteed. Money can lead to corruption as well.

How will you be able to help if you don't have money? Will you pour from an empty cup? For your help to be impactful I think money have to be involve, oh yes you can help without money but you really need money for substance

its gonna be pretty hard to help poor people if you dont have money

well as for me i prefer helping poor people. My believe is if you cant help the poor when you don't have money or out of the little you have, then you will not be able and you will find it difficult to help them when you have enough of it.Even the bible says "you should give and you will be rewarded in many folds"(that is, even if you have little give out of it.) not wait till you have enough before you give.If we know this the world would be a better place.
