Would you like it if you knew the person is just doing it to "motivate" you to work on something?

I usually dgaf however with constant exposure to such, we need to stand up for ourselves from the constant barrage to make them realize what they are doing. 😊

For now it's strike one. I won't let them get to strike three so let's see how they will react soon. 😅

Yes I agree. However in the workplace it's not possible to keep away from them all the time. Good thing we don't meet everyday and it doesn't happen everyday. Haha.

Well that would mean working somewhere else which I don't plan to do at the moment. I will allow them time to change for the meantime. By doing what I did, I hope have made them realize what they need to improve on as a leader.

Yeah, it's better to laugh at the thought of them doing it but when they are actually doing the tirade, it's best to let them know it's not appreciated.

That's true. This particular person I am talking about got it from our new superior. I should probably let this person know because it looks like they are unaware of it.

You can let them know, but do keep in mind that them being unaware can put you in a more awkward position where they don't acknowledge your help or even misinterpret your intentions. If someone would have approached me 4 years ago with the info I have now, I might not have had a listening ear. Hope it works out. #Lobi

Well... They talk about management during their meetings so anything I and anyone else does gets reported anyway. And one at the top has learned of what I did. They can make it all about me or not, I can play devil's advocate all day. Lol.

Oh I do know I am not perfect and that I have my faults but it doesn't mean I will let them use it against me to make me feel small. Failures and mistakes are part of success. If we do not experience such then how else can we improve?

This is why I asked what are the good things I did too aside from the wrong things I did. There's always a good and bad side to everything and everyone. 😊

And I agree, most people are concerned with their own lives than other people.
