#6 - 7day musicwaybackchallenge | Boysetsfire - Rookie [GER/ENG]
Es ist schon der 6. Tag, die Challenge fast vorbei und ich habe festgestellt, dass ich @dotwin1981 noch gar nicht für die Nominierung gedankt habe. Vielen Dank dafür, hat echt Spaß gemacht!
Heute springen wir an den Anfang der 2000er. Ich entdeckte den Emocore für mich. Unter anderem Bands wie The Used, Coheed and Cambria, Taking Back Sunday und die hier genannten Boysetsfire habe ich zu dieser Zeit sehr intensiv gehört.

Bei uns in Osnabrück gibt es den Hyde Park, eine sehr alternative Disco, früher sogar in einem alten Zirkuszelt.
Zur Rocknacht sind wir da regelmäßig hingefahren, dass Lied wurde eigentlich immer gespielt und dann wurde "getanzt". Da kann man aber auch gut zu abgehen!
Vor der Rocknacht war immer Rabenschwarze Nacht, Gothic, Dark Metal usw. Pünktlich um 1:00 Uhr wurde dann das Licht angedreht und das Publikum wechselte komplett. Immer ein interessantes Erlebnis.
Boysetsfire habe ich in eben diesem Hyde Park live gesehen und hatte sogar das Glück, ein paar Worte mit dem Sänger Nathan Gray zu wechseln. Außerdem hat er mir den Drumstick unterschrieben, den ich vorher gefangen habe. Bin ich megastolz drauf und hat immer noch einen Ehrenplatz!

"dancing". This song is great to rock. Before Rock Night there was
always Ravendark Night, Gothic, Dark Metal etc. Punctually at 1:00
o'clock the lights were turned on and the audience changed completely.
Always an interesting experience. I saw Boysetsfire live in the Hyde
Park and even had the luck to exchange a few words with singer Nathan
Gray. Besides, he signed the drumstick I caught before. I'm so proud
of it, and he still has a place of honor!

Haha - danke für die Nominierung - ich war schon länger nominiert, aber da ich eine Weile unterwegs war, hab ich heute erst geschrieben... Ich starte ganz harmlos mit den Beatles haha.
Den Hydepark kannte ich eigentlich nur über meine Kinder (wir sind erst seit gut 10 Jahren in OS). Allerdings hatte ich auch ein interessantes Erlebnis dort, als ein Freund von uns mit seinem Sohn zur Gothic Party wollte. Ich wollte mit... Schwarze Klamotten zusammen gesucht und los ging es. Eieieiei - das war spannend... Nicht nur von der Musik (ich konnte tanzen, das ist schon mal super) sondern vom Publikum. Naja, das Eigentümlichste waren 2 Frauen, wobei die eine die andere an einer Kette am Hals herumführte (diese "krabbelte" am Boden) Insgesamt empfand ich die Stimmung als sehr düster und wenig lebensbejahend... War spannend.
Achso, dann warst du auch schon nominiert. Naja, @yaraha hat schon recht, wie soll man da den Überblick behalten.
Ja, genau, so war das immer vor der Rocknacht.
Rabenschwarze Nacht war früher jeden Freitag und Rocknacht dann nur alle vier Woche ab 1:00 Uhr. War jetzt auch schon ewig nicht mehr da und hab keine Ahnung, wie das Heute ist.
War auf jeden Fall cool, wenn die "Grufties" (nicht bös gemeint, ich mag diese Kulturform wohl) dann alle schnell raus sind und ab 1:00 Uhr die Hardcore- und Metalfans den Raum eroberten.
