It's going to be a fine night tonight,
It's going to be a fine day tomorrow.
These popular words were originally written as a lyrics of a poem by English poet and musician Edward Barton and were credited to his girlfriend, Jane Lancaster. Nowadays, especially today, we can perfectly fit the same lyrics into the realms of the world of cryptocurrencies and general mood of the Steemians... or Saadmians... Mentioned version independently recorded and released by the lovely couple and sung by Jane in early 80's is coming back today to bring you some warm and joy during the cold days on the market cap. Thanks to Iain McNay founder of British Cherry Red Records who digged out Jane & Barton in the DJ John Peel's radio show, this tune was released on his label in 1983 and widely promoted has reached 5th place on the UK Indie Chart.

YEAR OF THE REMIXES
As the popularity of this eagerly played song rised quickly, it shouldn't be a surprise that in the golden age of raves, year 1992, we have received, literally an avalanche of the remixes. The first one who came out with his pioneer sounds of the proto-jungle in march 1992 and gave the background to the original It's A Fine Day was no one else but legendary British DJ, producer and musician A Guy Called Gerald. His broken amen break, sharp, raw bass and raving acid sounds surrounded by the mildly twisted vocals are definitely taking the original tune into the another dimension.

In the same year Fine Day was also released by Opus III, an electronic music group whose main vocalist was Kirsty Hawkshaw. Song was produced and issued first without any label, for the promotional purposes only on the 12" vinyl in 1991, but the official release from label PWL International came out for the wider audience in the next year, 1992. Song gained a huge international success, was played by thousands of DJ's all around the world and in 2010 was named the 182nd best track of the 90's according to the Pitchfork Media.

Also in 1992 Orbital had dropped their version of this milestone gem. Thanks to them we can enjoy this 11 minutes long energetic psy & folk deep electronique eargasm completed the trippy videoclip. One year after premiere of Halcyon, for their second eponymous LP, electronic duo Paul and Phil Hartnoll performed a deeper and smoother remix, considered as their best song ever, repressed hundred times by dozens of different labels. Song was dedicated to the mother of brothers, who was addicted to the tranquiliser Halcion (Triazolam) for many years.

LATER VERSIONS
Next years have brought plenty of different versions from Dance and House to Dubstep. One of the most significant attempt were produced in 1998 by Miss Jane - a tribute project of the two Italian producers David Carlotti & Carmine Sorrentino. Their EP with original rmx and remixes by ATB and C.J. Stone quickly invaded all dance floors across the globe and again hypnotized the whole generation with the legendary vocal of Jane Lancaster.

For the next more-recognizable version we had to wait 8 years. Does it mean that until the next generation will grow up ? Anyway, in 2006 a duo of Finnish producers known as Dallas Superstar released an energetic uplifting, progressive trance version of our banger. Heikki Liimatainen & Jaakko Salovaara's version gained a lot of positive feedback but actually it has never reached the sizes and prestige of the previous versions.
