Mir sind zwar die Allman Brothers ein Begriff, aber dass einer von ihnen, nämlich Duane Allman zu den größten Gitarristen seiner Zeit zählte, habe ich nicht gewusst.

The crazy part was that the Fillmore East Live album was certified as a Gold record just before he died. It was in the following months that the band became truly famous.
If you get some time, put on your headphones and listen to the album: the song "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed" is my favorite.
You really are a music lover, I am very please that you have even heard of them, not too many people in Europe have.
