Threat Signal - Groove Metal from Canada
Hello Steemians,
skillfully guitar riffs and solo combined with quick and heavy breakdowns. These guys from Canada know how to break your neck in a melodic way. Check out this song with one of the greatest intro and outro i know:
Founded in 2003, they released their first song "Rational Eyes" on the platform GarageBand.com, an international metal chart. After a few weeks this song reached No. 1 and motivated the band to release more songs there. "One Last Breath", "Inane" and "A new Beginning" followed.
On different platforms the musical style is named as Heavy metal, Groove metal, Alternative metal or Melodic Death metal. What do you think would fit the best for their music?
Over the years they released 4 album. I'm sure if there weren't that much line-up changes within the band they would have produced more. Anyway, from the first to the last album the style hasn't changed much. If you just know "A new Beginning" from 2008 and you would listen to a song from the latest album from 2017 you would definitely still identify that it's Threat Signal.
