Welcome to episode 6 of "No Borders Artists Review", where each wednesday we will be reviewing indie artists from all over the world!
There's a lot of music in the world, some people work really hard to make their own way and we are willing to help them in every way possible.
For this episode we've chosen "Seven Epigonus" from Medellín, Colombia.
Seven Epigonus is an instrumental metal music project which was started back in December 2017 by Juan Hoyos as the composer, guitarist, mixer and producer of it.
He was actually the winner of Week #19 of our Soundcloud Weekly Contest, but the quality of the music and the great production of the songs made us like the music so much that we decided to choose him for this episode.
Even if you are not a metal listener I'm sure you'll be able to appreciate the great techniques shown in his music. The guitar playing is outstanding and the quality of the compisitions is exquisite! It's not easy to make instrumental metal music and make it sound interesing without getting the listener bored because of the abscense of a voice. But this guy has achieved that, at least in my opinion. The songs have some many changes, transitions, riffs, breaks, etc... you can't get bored! I can't say much more about it, you need to listen for yourself.
Right now he's working on his debut album called "The First Row", the following song is going to be a part of it!
There's even a playthrough vid of this very same song, check it out!
Can this guy play or what?
Make sure you follow him on his socials and other platforms:
He told me he applied for an account on Steemit so we may see him around here soon!
Reminder:
Each wednesday we will be reviewing an indie band/artist from anywhere in the world. The idea is to cover every country there is, for now we've reviewed artists from Argentina, Venezuela, The Netherlands, Portugal, England and Colombia. So if you have some recommendations outside those countries please comment! (Just for now, we will repeat countries in later episodes of course)
Fckn rockn! Following everywhere too! :)
