Mozart - One of the most influencing Austrian's ever :) And probably the first ever Pop-Star!
Hatte als Kind ein Hörspiel über die Geschichte des kleinen Jungen der mit seiner Musik die Welt erobert hat - Ich bin zwar weißgott kein großer Fan klassischer Musik - und war es als Kind noch weniger - Aber das Hörspiel hatte einfach was besonderes - inspirierendes!

Thanks, I completely agree, he was a total pop star. Like you, I'm not a huge classical music fan, but Mozart and Bach were such extraordinarily gifted composers that I don't even think of them as classical -- strangely their music, for the most part, remains current.

Lastly, there is no doubt about it, childhood memories are the most vivid and intense!
