Messing around a bit last night with my loop pedal. Everything was still setup for my recording of "Nothing Else Matters" so I pressed record again to mess around a bit more with HitFilm. Things got a bit heavy on the effects because I wanted to see how far I could push it. It took over 6 hours for my computer render this video when I was finished so I'd say this is the limit. Unless I want to upgrade my computers performance a bit (which I might do after trying to complete this).

The recording is only one audio track with zero edits on the sound. I'm really just noodling around but it turned out pretty cool. I'm thinking I should try and get Pro Tools running again to get a better sound quality. I had to replace my harddrive a while back and since then, my computer won't work with Pro Tools. It's really frustrating because it's been the case for over ten years of trying to work with the program. When I finally get it working it works well, but getting it setup every time I make a change to the computer is enough to make me abandon using it.

Any musicians out there have an idea of something better I could use to record with? Preferably something free/open source.
