Mounika
Jules aka Mounika is a young producer of Abstract Hip-Hop and Trip-Hop from Poitiers, a small town in France that recently saw the rough diamonds Kognitif and the sparkling trio Jabberwocky.
He draws as well his inspirations from the films he sees as from the melodies he delights in-ear. Bonobo, Al Tarba, Seekae, Guts are just a few examples of the artists who influence him daily. It's also said that behind every great beatmaker there is a woman hiding. Mounika does not deviate from the rule and admit willingly that his main source of inspiration is none other than his muse, his girlfriend. And to pass from the word muse to music there is only one step.
After 5 EP ( Extended Play ) and 3 albums Mounika is constantly on the move to satisfy the everyday needs of his followers.
