Nujabes

Some of you probably know him already but I really like this artist and I want to make him listen to those who have never heard him before. Jun Seba is a hip-hop, trip hop producer and a Japanese DJ recording his titles under the pseudonym Nujabes. He's such a good beatmaker!

It was revealed thanks to the soundtrack of Samurai champloo, i recommand you this japanese anime too! The cartoon mixes modern hip-hop with the chambara, in the same way that Cowboy Bebop blended science fiction with jazz and blues.

Sadly, on February 26, 2010, Nujabes was involved in a traffic accident. He was pronounced dead at a hospital in Shibuya Ward after efforts to revive him failed.

He had the time to compose 3 albums during his career which are all exceptional, i recommand all of them :

2003 : Metaphorical Music

2005 : Modal Soul

2011 : Spiritual State

Regan Matthews, better known by his stage name Ta-ku, is an Australian musician, producer and photographer, he decided to pay homage to him after his death and releases an album titled "25 nights for Nujabes"
