Lorelei is a Russian melodic/gothic doom/death metal band, founded in a tiny town of Eastern Siberia in 2003.

Если кто не в курсе, Lorelei (лорелея) - это "речная дева", сказочное создание вроде русалки, только не с рыбьим хвостом, а с нормальными человеческими ногами и всем, что идет в комплекте (видимо, пресноводные места обитания диктуют полноценную антропоморфность). В Европе этот персонаж известен довольно широко, и если вы станете искать на Ютубе, то прежде всего наткнетесь на пачку любительских "клипов" к одноименному треку "Scorpions". По этой же причине музыкальных команд с названием Lorelei в мире пруд пруди (зацените каламбурчик!), но лишь одна из них интересует нас по-настоящему, это doom/death группа из сибирского города Чита.
Впрочем, сибирской эта банда была не долго, вскоре после выхода дебютного релиза Королевство Призрачных Теней коллектив перебирается в Москву, и второй альбом Стон Разбитой Души пишется уже в подмосковной студии.
