Winter is coming and what better way to celebrate than with music made from ice. People around the world craft fragile ice musical instruments like guitar, drums, xylophone, even a double bass and many more. Some like to perform in an ice chamber in a glacier, others use the ice blocks as percussion instrument, or maybe make something completely new. In many cases the precious ice material gives unique possibilities and sound exceptional.
Here is a playlist of some amazing ice performers.
