It's 11.11 - 7th Anniversary of the release of my 1st album "The Other Side" (11.11.'11)
It's 11.11 - 7 years ago today, on 11.11 '11, I released my 1st album "The Other Side".
I don't know if had even heard of bitcoin and blockchain at that time but it certainly is exciting to be a part of the blockchain space!
If I look at the last 7 years of my life, and all my efforts and struggles to turn music into a source of living, I have to admit that it did not go the way I would have liked it to. Probably also because at that time, I only knew I wanted to make a living with music, instead of having a more defined vision - built around the values that matter to me.
In any case, over the years, I have written many more songs. Some I recorded as demos, some are just written. I kinda lost stamina for a while, seeing how hard it was to make a living as a musician.
BUT things are changing for the better now! I've learned a thing or two about believing in myself, setting goals, managing projects etc... and I'm beginning to reap more musical successes :) ALSO THANKS TO YOU, community!
So I wanna thank you all for your support and I look forward to seeing blockchain platforms contribute to a more fairly rewarded and funded musical future!

I only came out (musically) a few years ago.
I spent years hiding away from the scene and not recording my efforts, working shitty jobs and thus taking my focus off pursuing dreams and desires.
3 years ago I morally gave in and listened to my soul for once, and here I am sat in the sunshine on my balcony in the middle of Cambodia, earning enough $ to get by with just my guitar and slowly building a fanbase to play future musics to.
It takes ages to get a fanbase and I realize the hard consistent work it takes, especially if you are a loan soldier.
But it looks like I came at the right time with blockchain technology!
The only way is up!!

thanks for your kind words! I can see that you understand what I'm talking about. Persistence is the way forward and also inquiry into why things haven't worked and where did they work. Building a fanbase is the only way forward. In the end, those are the people that listen to your music and that will support your by buying tickets to your gigs, your merch etc - but you know that :)
