Live piano trio at Douglass Studios, Brooklyn
As I wade into the music industry, step by step, I’d like to share the progress and motivations and whether I’m drowning yet (!)
That’s a quick video teaser I’ve just cut together, of a recent live jazz set of some original songs in a studio setting, mainly for promo.
This post is a bit “behind the scenes at the sausage factory” 🐷 because the video isn’t really aimed at audiences or fans -- it’s more for laying the groundwork for an upcoming press kit, and an imminent website launch.
As more stuff happens, other shows/music styles/band arrangements will be recorded, adding to a pool of promo media that is hopefully flexible enough to send depending on who I’m reaching out to. (For example, venues for tour booking, record labels for collaborations and limited-scope releases, publications for interviews or reviews.)

I love it. It's a great lead in. The little bit of piano, the other instruments coming in gradually. I can't wait to see how this all comes together.
