Nils independently recorded the piano. This was a key feature of the application, since in the library each sound and note conveys the style of play and sound of the musician.

The piano was recorded at Funkhaus Studios in conjunction with Uli Baronovsky, as well as Galaxy Instruments engineers. The piano was fixed on vintage equipment using Neumann microphones.

In addition to the samples, Noire is equipped with a special engine that generates harmonic elements and other melodies based on the game of a real musician. For this, the combines various percussion samples of piano strings.

Today, cost of Native Instruments Noire is $149. The library additionally requires a sampler Kontakt 6/Kontakt Player 6. Size of the entire library is approximately 16GB.
