Produced Songs That Need Lyrics - Anyone Up For The Challenge?
I been working on these songs but don't have any lyrics for any of them. Anyone want to give it a shot?
I played and produced everything on this and did it all in Cubase. All the titles are just working titles so I'm not attached to what kind of lyrics get added.
Give a listen and I welcome any critique. One thing you should know about me is I have thick skin when it comes to music so don't worry about hurting my feelings. I don't take opinions personally. I mean, it's just noise, right?

I think of writing music as creating a wardrobe. Like clothes in your closet, they are interchangeable. Mix and match different outfits. Nothing to take very seriously. I wouldn't get upset because my friend chose to wear jeans with a particular shirt, right? It may not be my style but it's nothing to get freaked out about. Music to me is the same thing.
I have a collection of music and of lyrics and they can be combined to create different songs. The guys I play music with think I'm pulling ideas out of thin air but really, I'm just mixing and matching things to the noise in the room at the moment. So, go for it. Write whatever moves you.

Yeah, man... "Bridge of Sigh's" was my introduction to Trower, which certainly sealed the deal for me... Let's see what we come up with... cool!
Dude, he rocks. Check this live version of Bridge Of Sighs out. This was a great song to learn electric guitar on. Just slow enough for beginners, but so heavy if you got the chops to rip it up.
It's pretty impressive what you can do with 1 guitar, 1 bass, and a drummer.
It is amazing. I did the guitar and bass and the drums are programmed. To me, that's the hardest part, making the drums sound real. It takes a lot of time to do that.
The guitars are layered and slightly detuned a fraction higher and a fraction lower than the actual take, then blended in the mix together to make it sound thick.
The keyboard was played on this tiny little keyboard with mostly one finger and connected to a computer with sampled keys sounds in it.
Absolutely! Another of my favorites from this Album was "Fool And Me."

Hey @voyceatlas I believe I heard you from the Rap Battle Challenge! You clowned! This should be interesting to see what you do with this beat, if you choose it.
I have never entered the Rap Challenge but I support it on Open Mic, which I host and the guys at the Rap Challenge promote Open Mic as well. You may have seen me on one of their posts, but not as an entry in the contest.

I believe the comment you are responding to here was directed at @voyceatlas although it was made in a reply to your comment. Very nice polished mixes here @luzcypher! I am still working my way through these, you put up a lot at once here! I may take a stab at one or two, lyrics tend to fall out of me like liquid poop out of a seagull's butt :)

I really like "In Your Face". Don't have any lyrics for you, just wanted to say I'm impressed!
"On My Way" also has a nice moving beat, something you could drive to. :) Kinda reminds me of something by The Cure, in parts.

"Weed's my thing" is pretty cool, not sure if I could write to that though.
"Wriggler" had too many changes for me.
"In your face" and "Shove it" are both really good, for my tastes. I can start to imagine something for them.
"Horseback" is really smooth! Nice upbeat feeling from that one.
"Tesla" is a bit too techno for my personal tastes. Well put together though.
"Stripping" is rather groovy! More of an instrumental track.
"Have a Pink Day" is pretty epic! It makes me think of cruising down the highway.
"On My Way" Nice lead in! It feels like a happy song. I got ideas for this one.
I don't know what, if anything, I'll come up with for any of these songs, but it'll be fun to try.
