lyrics
I don't wanna feel no more
It's easier to keep falling
Imitations are pale
emptiness all tomorrows
Haunted by your ghost
Lay down, black gives way to blue
Lay down, I'll remember you
fading out by design
Consciously avoiding changes
curtains drawn, now it's done
Silencing all tomorrows
Forcing a goodbye
Lay down, black gives way to blue
lay down, I'll remember you

Oh wow. I covered a song sung by Layne Staley this week and you've sung one that commemorated him. This is what I like about the Steemit community, it's full of like minded people.
Yeah, I like it too and it does have a lot of like minded people on it, and some not so like minded ;)
I haven't been on the net in like 5 days, but I will listen to your cover now.
Words cannot express my gratitude. With the passing of Marcia this song has taken on a new life. A friend of hers introduced me to this a month after she left us. She was going through her own depression and hell and we will never know if she died naturally or just gave up. I tried to be there for her. Thank you for taking the time to record this. Good job. - Troy
You're welcome man. It's a song I love and don't listen to often anymore so it was my pleasure playing it for ya.
Thanks for posting your work. Nice song and lyrics.
Thanks man
