Song Suggestion #2
What'sup Steemit People!
Kodaz back with another Song Suggestion for you today.
This next song is not only a combination of a few of my favorite artist but the lyrics and visuals the artist give in this song really just work together with this crazy switch up beat. Without further ado, Murals/Changes.
Song #2 Murals/Changes - Berner Ft. Atmosphere & Mistah Fab
This song off of Berner's Album Hempire is great in the fact that he brings back two rappers who have impacted the game in ways only people can dream of, the content of which they discuss as well as shedding some light on the difficulty's of the industry and what this monster can do.
Atmosphere, or I guess more appropriately Slug, talks about a lot in his first verse of the song. One of the more important things that he talked about was the fact that he always said he was never gonna stop rapping and people were gonna hear his message in all the music he makes. We haven't heard much from him since Atmosphere's most recent release of Fishing Blues but it may be due to some of the emotional issues he was having that he talks about in this song. Either way, its nice to get the unique voice of slug next to two amazing artist. Pretty Refreshing from the music that is brought around now a days.
Berner.....
This man talks about some serious stuff in this song but we will start with his first verse. He talks about typical Berner and rapper stuff. Having tons of kush and money but he also shows a little bit of the human side as well mentioning how he feels when he is on the road and can't be with his daughter. As we go in to the second verse, things get a little more real for him. He goes into a lot of information on what was going on with him around the time his mom was going through a lot of issues in the hospital (prayers go out to him and his family). It's never easy loosing someone so important but the fact he is able to put how he felt out there and what he was going through as an artist of everything that was going on at the time is admirable and artist should take note. He also goes into how Mistah Fab hooked him up with TGOD not wanting to let that huge information for him fall to the way-side and pay respect where respect is do especially with how the industry treats fab with all he has done for the industry. All in all, much respect and love to Berner for putting this masterpiece together.
No need to introduce this man and everything he has done for the industry so I am just gonna jump right into his verse. Mistah Fab talks about the emotional stress he has been going through lately and the fact that the industry has turned there back on him. I can't blame him for not wanting to go on main stream social media, it's a bunch of fake people that aren't up on steemit, let's be honest. He also let's it be known he never wanted the reputation of hooking berner up and helping launch his career to what it is now but like I said previously, berner isn't okay with that and think he deserves the recognition. The detail and visuals Fab gives you in his verse are unrivaled to todays artist and I wish we can get more of this real art in music these days.
If you guys stuck around to the end, thank you so much for the support and just know there are tons of post to come and always new music in the making. Much love, and everyone have a great day.
