NZ MUSIC MONTH - THE FEELERS
Christchurch born singer songwriter James Reid formed The Feelers in 1992 who have gone on to be one of NZ's favorite rock bands (@sift666 yes i called them rock...calm down..)
Signed by Warner music the feelers first album "Super-system" exploded to number 1 on the NZ music charts in late 1998 and have never looked back.

The Feelers have released 5 albums ( + 1 x greatest hits) with the last one being in 2011, they have done tours since and released a song in 2014.
James Reid himself released a solo album in 2013, so are The Feelers history now? - no not at all!!
James said in January of this year "The Feelers, are far from over and expect an extensive tour of NZ some time soon.
When they do tour i plan to be all over it as i still havent seen them play live....cant wait!

The Feelers are my fav NZ band!
Personally-speaking, Supersystem is their best album (so far), but I remember reading that James (or someone in the band) thought it was rubbish compared to what they've done since. But so many great songs on it, IMO.
I know they love touring around the country, and I think they always try and play the Coromandel pub for NYE. That place must rock each year!
