March 20, 1976 – July 20, 2017
Chester Bennington was born March 20th 1976, in Pheonix Arizona. Bennington was best known as the front man for [Linkin Park](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linkin_Park. Chester Bennington was found dead around 9 a.m. July 20th, 2017 by his house keeper. This is truly a sad day for the music world, with former Linkin Park band mate [Mike Shinoda}(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Shinoda) confirming the news on twitter and many more paying tribute as well. Bennington sure did leave his mark in the music world.

The Magic Voice
Chester Bennington, will forever be one of my top favorite vocalist. I was truly a fan forever since the day I heard him sing live at a local concert before Linkin Park rally took off and became the big name they were later in there career. With his wide range of from deep to some impressive highs, Benningtons vocals really were truly amazing and I can listen to him sing all day. Some of the best performances from Bennington were his acoustic and unplugged performance, there you can really sense the passion and emotion that he brings into his vocals and music, such a great artist and was truly a hard day for me yesterday when he died, will we ever hear a unique voice like his again?

Down To Earth
This whole tragedy really has been a shock, not only because of the circumstances, but because Chester was known by many close friends as a 'Down To Earth" guy and always seemed to smile and make others laugh and smile as well. The music industry has a reputation of suicide related deaths due to stress and depression. It's sad to see come of these stars give up and take there lives, it really shows that you never know what truly is going on in someones head, we all wear mask sometimes, I guess some of us are just better at keeping it on at times.
