I know, I've tried to get the newer versions to work on my desktop for 6 months now, tried everything and the only version that works is the first one or whichever 1.1.12 is.
Really, what is the error message if you get error while installing new version? Have you tried to install from here https://github.com/esteemapp/esteem-surfer/releases/tag/2.2.0
Yes sir I've tried to install it from that link. I get an error that says..."RPC error: trx.expiration" and then a bunch of numbers.
Error is because of transaction expiring which means your Date & Time on device might be off by few seconds. I would suggest to set it to Automatically or make sure it is close to actual time. This should resolve trx.exp issue.
oh, that would be amazing if the problem was that easy to fix! This computer is off by a couple of minutes so I'll set it and try to reload the latest version, thanks so much!
