How to teach a musical instrument - Teaching kids - Post and video #1
Do you play any musical instrument and you want to teach?
Maybe you are considering to teach a musical instrument, maybe you have been doing it for some time, but no matter how much theory is in our training, when we are in the day to day something else is.
However, you do not need to have a music degree (I do not say it is not good, it's great) to give efficient classes, the truth is that for every musician there is a lot of work teaching, in many occasions we accept teaching because there is a job opportunity, and there is when sometimes we start struggling.
PURPOSE
This post is the first of a series of publications where I will be sharing advices on teaching music, especially teaching an instrument, so if you play an instrument and give classes, keep an eye on each of the lessons in this course through publications in Steemit.
INTRODUCTION
IS IT DIFFICULT TO GIVE CLASSES TO CHILDREN?
On many occasions I have heard from fellow music teachers, as well as some of my students in the universities where I have been able to teach, the following phrase "No, I prefer not to teach kids", but is it really very difficult? The answer is relative and subjective at the same time, however what I do know is that sometimes what we need are tools to awaken our creativity, once our imagination is underway and with an appropriate guide teaching children much more bearable and in my opinion it is quite fun since children have a very special freshness that adults lose over time.
Below I share the video where I show some tips and ideas to consider when we teach children.
I hope you will enjoy this, I know that this topic is not for everybody, since not all are musicians but if you give classes or know someone who does, you can share this information beyond the world of Steemit votes.
See you soon, thanks for reading and watching, musical greetings !! :)
