Gain levels "Electric guitar pedals"

in #music7 years ago
Undoubtedly the subject regarding pedals of effects, is extremely wide controversial and is even a whole object of study in which we must give ourselves to the task of understanding or working to add to our having a better quality of audio and sound. Being even a tool which helps us to transmit an idea or feeling through our composition or musical piece.

This tool despite being the number one resource of the electric guitar par excellence,is a musical resource which can be found in instruments such as the bass, keyboard, synthesizer or add it to a microphone signal to modulate wind instruments or natural resonance.

It is very common to observe a pedal overdrive or distortion in a pedalborad since these provide us with a sound additive in charge of deforming or fouling our output signal, which has become a key element in contemporary music. But what less experienced guitarists are unaware of is the fact of generating many shades of gain through the stacking of certain effects such as fuzz, booster, overdrive, distortion and even the conjugation in order of them.

It has always intrigued me to occupy two pedals with the same modulation within our equipment, but the truth is that everything in life has a reason for being, in this case refers mainly to the experimentation of sound, since the levels of gains transcend beyond a hierarchical logic within the decreasing parameters of saturation. That is why today I share an explanatory video which shows a number of options regarding the stacking and conjugation of the saturation pedals

As you could see in the video, certain conjugations can gradually increase our level of attack, generate more sustain or even give us a greater degree of versatility to quickly address the timbre of a gender with low saturation. That is why I have to emphasize the importance of knowing the effects in order to obtain a better use of our equipment, since the knowledgeable musician provides a great amount of nuances in the different arrangements of his musical pieces.

You can tell me in the comments that you think this notion, and in what ways you use your effects.

post your very interesting, I like your post, because it can add insight for me and all the people in stemeet, I love to read and see new things in my life, hopefully others also like your post, I hope posts next can provide thing better yet, so that I know many things in my life, thank you :)

Thanks for your opinion dude C=

very interesting , stacking drives is quite useful if done right . I usually just use my Maxon Sd-9 that I've had for years as my main drive , I set it for medium gain, When I need more gain I put an RC booster with quite a big volume boost before the Maxon , resulting in generous amounts of gain . When I want a volume boost for soloing , i use another booster After the Maxon , this way i get more volume, instead of gain . Also it is very important to have a transparent as possible booster at the end of the gain chain , because the final sound is VERY dependant on the last gain pedal on your chain . Just my two cents :) . Nice post!

Thanks for sharing your experience!
