Hello! My name is Stacy Fratelli and I am new to Steemit and new to making music! I thought this might be a good place to share my beginning efforts. Ha! Honestly, I️ couldn’t be more confused on how to use Steemit. Like, what is DTube!? Did I️ mess up by posting a YouTube link? Does my post show up in the “introduce yourself” category? I️ read so many instructions but I️ still don’t understand. Looks like I’m the stable genius 😂

Yeah, your post shows up in introduceyourself category, no problem with that :) I think you should investigate DTube more, especially if you are going to publish more videos/songs :-) You'll find more infos:

As for your beginnings here, I strongly encourage you to find other people according your tastes/interests/hobbies and follow them and comment (judiciously) as much as possible, which will bring you the best payouts options. Bear in mind that:

How is the reward pool split between authors and curators?

Up to 25% of a post's payout is awarded to curators (the people who upvoted the post) as a reward for discovering the content. The other 75% is awarded to the author. If curators vote for a post within the first 30 minutes of it being created, a portion of their curation reward is added to the author payout. This portion is linear to the age of the post between 0 and 30 minutes. As an example: upvoting at 15 minutes will donate half of your potential curation reward to the author.
