I decided to write some articles about classic albums that you must have heard before you die

I will tell you a little about these albums, and post some music, because music should be the thing that speaks, if you like what you hear ... consider supporting these artists.

DEAD CAN DANCE - THE SERPENTS EGG (1988)

  • Dead Can Dance is an Australian musical project formed in 1981 in Melbourne by Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry.

  • In 1982 they decided to move to London, and a little later they signed with the 4AD Label.

  • Two years later they released their self titled debut. The Serpents Egg” is their fourth studio album.

Dead Can Dance’s music consists of various world influences combined with folk and alt rock, once their music was described as ...

constructed soundscapes of mesmerising grandeur and solemn beauty

Personally i can describe their music with one word

Haunting

Host of the setaphim is the opening track and listening to this, you will understand what i mean with haunting.

If this track sounds familiar to you, it has been used in several movies like stephen kings The Mist.
