I have to admit that ever since I have moved to Johannesburg (South Africa) , I rarely busk anymore
Maybe it's due to the fact that I've developed a certain sensitivity to harsh weather and criticisms or that Johannesburg is pretty well known for its crime rate, so you don't hang around with your guitar late at night if you catch my drift.
I was busking a lot the first 2 years I arrived here and I met lots of amazing musicians , but after a terrible incident at gun point in Cape Town , I decided to retire from the busking scene indefinitely. Oh Well!
It's a shame because i was very good at it , and enjoying it very much.
But I have to admit that I made most of my money in the streets of Paris and London ,because busking is cherished there.We even have a busking day in France called "Fete de La Musique"
So Steemit can become the street that I busk on
I used to busk with an accordion when I was I kid. But I lost my ability to play on it... Oh well it was fun :-)

Lol you could have been french in another life ! that's the typical instrument even if it gets harder and harder to find a good accordionist nowadays.Very difficult to master!

Yes! it's so real and probably the oldest form of art. I met musicians from Zimbabwe this week end, and one was explaining me that they use a fish line and a board to make a guitar in his village , everybody enjoy a good street performance, even with a 1 string makeshift guitar !
