Santa Cruz

Out of all my journeys Santa Cruz has been the biggest. While traveling behind a female vocalist things were tough at times. Behind the scenes was what was mind blowing. Sex was one thing that became a regular while doing a stage act. It was like a porno on the regular every night. Sex, whiskey, and rock n roll. At that time in my love I fell in love with it. Whiskey that is no matter what brand really. Although me and my girlfriend went through the best of the best when our act paid off. It was a 3 part band with my friend Robert on the mandolin. That left us free to go off and shagg in the woods wrestling with twiggs and bushes. Those were wild times indeed and looking back in retrospect pretty crazy doing what we did. With all the spots we could busk in the town of santa Cruz there were many post shows when we got back to the camps that we set up. Not a single regret I can really say having then and now. We're we young and dumb in love? some would say yes. We're we a little too sketchy risk taking? Most likely. A little paranoid oh hell yes we would stay up for hours at night talking about being watched by the illuminati and the corruption of the government and police state. 3 folk rock n roll players and one girls mind. You figure out what style we created how we sounded The audience. I can say the crowd showed their approval and appreciation with money and most the time it was proven in what we walked away with in our pockets. The scene was prosperous.
