Eurovision Song Contest - Romania WINNER

For those of you who don't know what Eurovision is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision_Song_Contest
This year the Song Contest will be held in Lisbon thanks to Salvador Sobral who won the last year's edition with "Amar Pelos Dois", a combination of Jazz, Ballad, Alternative rock and Pop genres. It is a very touching song about a lost love and the continuous struggles and efforts to get it back. An interesting fact is that it has been produced and written by the Portuguese singer's sister, Louisa Sobral.
Last night I watched the final of Eurovision Romania and I can say with my hand on heart that it has been the highest quality romanian edition since I was born. After a fierce battle between amazing songs and performances, the winner was announced...
THE HUMANS
The Humans is a band led by the vocalist Cristina Caramarcu, founded 1 year ago. The surprise was even bigger given the fact they had their 1 year celebration last night. The other band members are Adi Tetrade(drums), Alin Neagoe(bass), Alex Matei(keyboard) and Alex Cismaru(guitar) each of them having coming from various musical backgrounds especially from the funk-pop-rock mix.
Their song is named Goodbye that wears a strong message that urges us to motivate each other to not give up on our dreams. Also Cristina explained that we are living in a world where often we forget to appreciate all the beauty that surrounds us.
They are marching under the "We believe in humanity!" motto.

I was afraid last night as two kids were close to take over the first place. I'm talking about Alexia & Matei with their song "Walking on water" . I really didn't like their performance and especially the fact that they most probably got their ~3000 votes from the schools where they promoted themselves.
