SONG OF THE DAY - "Heaven" - Said the Whale (110)
If you haven't heard of Said the Whale before, I definitely wouldn't blame you. But if you're looking for a unique, less-popular artist to start listening to before they become a big deal, don't pass up on this band.
The Juno-award-winning indie-rock band is based out of Vancouver, BC, and formed in 2007. You'd think that their music would've reached more people by now, right? Or that's just me. The band's highest-viewed YouTube video sits at sub-900k views, which isn't bad, but a drop in the ocean in the scheme of things. Their talent is deserving of far more recognition then they have received so far, and you should definitely take the time to give "Heaven" a listen below:
