Music is Life...

If anyone tries to look up the meaning of the word "Music" in a dictionary, it would tell you it is vocal or Instrumental sound and/or the combination of both to produce harmonic sounds. No doubt it has been an integral part of human civilisations since we evolved.

Sound is the basic medium of communication and hence music assists us bond and connect easily with others. The collective expression of a wide range of human emotions can be felt through the power of music. Such is the affect it has on us, that we half-consciously rely on it to change the way we feel at a given moment. It has the overwhelming ability to heal, to influence our thoughts and our body.

In other words, it can be a good way to stay positive to many people and also forget their problems at least for a while. We turn to it because we need it to forget our problems or stress; actually we want to stay happy and stress free. We need it to impel feelings, thoughts or to drive our state of minds from one condition to another. We use it in celebrations and we do it when we mourn for our close ones, relatives or friends.

You too must have noticed that nowadays doctors have started using music to treat different health issues. In the schools too, students are being knowledge about different types of music like instrumental, vocal etc. Its said its much easier to start practising music from a very early age, as at that age its easy to develop new habits and interests.

Music has no relation to the world physically, but still it is touching the lives of billions of billions of its people in many untold ways, so much so, that we celebrate music now.
